Drawing on over a decade of experience as a "Senior Living Matchmaker", Michele expertly navigates families through the complexities of senior living decisions during emotionally stressful situations. She is well-versed in the impact of, and support systems in place to help those managing the impact of Alzheimer’s disease and dementia. She has been featured as a long-term care expert in print, TV, and radio broadcast media.
Her deep understanding of the senior living landscape is complemented by her advocacy for Age Tech solutions that enable seniors to age in place safely, affordably, and with greater independence.
After a successful career as a media executive, Michele started her senior services business to leverage her skills for better purposes. Her decision was influenced by losing her father to cancer and the compassionate care he received from professionals toward the end of his life. The company name "Michelota" pays homage to dad's nickname for her. She is proud to own-operate a contributing enterprise that makes a positive difference in people’s lives.
A dedicated Tampa resident with strong communities ties, she volunteers as a Medicare Counselor for Florida's Department of Elder Affairs S.H.I.N.E. Program, and a Eucharistic Ministry for the Elderly Team Leader for St. Paul Catholic Church. Michele has served as an Election Clerk for the Hillsborough County Supervisor of Elections Office and is Past President of Better Living for Seniors Hillsborough.
Michele holds an MBA degree from Nova Southeastern University and a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Tulane University.
