Answer: My placement services are 100% free to families. I am compensated through a referral fee paid by the senior living community you eventually choose. This allows me to provide professional, unbiased guidance without adding a financial burden to your family during a difficult transition.

For families with special elder care consulting needs, i charge an hourly consulting rate for a total project fee.

Answer: I have toured and evaluated over 300 communities across a six-county footprint (Hernando, Hillsborough, Pasco, Pinellas, Polk, and Manatee). While I work with a vast network of high-quality providers, I only recommend those that meet my strict standards for care, safety, and reputation. If a community has a history of poor state inspections and fines, I will tell you.

Answer: While a thoughtful search usually takes a few weeks, I am experienced in "crisis placements." If your loved one is being discharged from a hospital or rehab and needs a safe place immediately, I can often narrow down options and coordinate tours within 24 to 48 hours.

Answer: While I specialize in private-pay independent, assisted living and memory care placement, I am well-versed in the "alphabet soup" of senior care. I can explain the basics of VA Aid & Attendance or Florida’s Statewide Medicaid Managed Care Long-Term Care program and refer you to trusted legal or financial experts if you need deeper assistance. As a certified Florida SHINE Medicare Counselor for 14 years, I have helped 1,000+ seniors and their caregivers navigate health insurance decisions and issues.

Answer: This is a very common and emotional challenge. Part of my role is to act as a neutral third party. I can provide strategies for having "the talk" and help find communities that offer the specific social programs or amenities that might make your loved one feel excited rather than resistant.
